Wave Power (green energy)Since the wind powers the waves and sun powers the wind, you might say that solar is the true source of all power on earth.If you have ever stood and watched the tide come in, you know there is some real power there. The tide continues to make waves on a continual basis. Some scientists have devised ways to harness wave power. Pelamis Wave Power, a Scottish company, was one of the first to devise a feasible wave farm in Portugal. To date, many companies are trying out various forms of technology to harness wave power. The way that wave power works is the waves push hydraulic cylinders that will then make an electric generator work.
