Green Energy InformationBiomass and BiodieselGreen energy is mostly all about biomass. These are products that are naturally occurring, in nature, and that we can use for fuel. The most popular green energy fuel is biodiesel. This heavenly energy source can be made from used vegetable oil, from safflowers, from soybeans, and a whole host of other plants. The great thing about biodiesel is that it is a very clean burning fuel.EthanolThe next most popular biomass product is ethanol. Analysts have predicted the demise of ethanol. It is reasoned that ethanol is not good for the environment because it takes so much fossil fuel to make the fuel. In other words, ethanol will never be used unless widescale unless gasoline triples in price.Natural GasThe other clean and green energy that is popular is natural gas. Natural gas is made from organic naturally decaying matter. The organic natural gas replenishes itself and the United States has a lot of it here on its own soil. In addition, natural gas burns very clean and the motors actually last longer because natural gas is better on the engine. Natural gas, in most peoples minds is the best alternative to gasoline that gets too expensive. Two years ago, when gas shot up like crazy, natural gas was catching on like crazy and many wealthy investors were putting much support into it because it is seen as one of the best viable alternatives.Other Green EnergiesThere are many other green energies. There is green energy made from algae, from microbes, and from fuel cells. Time will only tell the winners from the losers as we move away from fossil fuels.
