Biomass Green EnergyBiomass is a green energy. Biomass is derived from living things. Examples of biomass are wood, grass, corn, soy, sugar cane, and palm. With biomass you can burn it directly to create fuel or you can turn it into a fuel. Recently, in the US corn has been used to create ethanol. The ethanol is a biomass fuel. Ethanol has been used widely in Brazil and the United States, but many people claim that ethanol production hasn't been very productive. The reason is that it there is a net loss in production. Some researchers claim that it takes more fossil fuel to make ethanol than you get out of the ethanol itself. There are many obstacles to biomass energy. However, researchers are constantly trying to figure out how to create the perfect sustainable fuel. While fossil fuels are cheap a biomass alternative will be difficult to implement. However, as fossil fuels rise so will innovation and production of biomass.
